Northern TUC & TUC Health & Safety Training Seminar

Hartlepool Trades Union Council are hosting a Health & Safety Training Seminar, sponsored by Thompsons Solicitors and endorsed by the Northern TUC, to promote Health & Safety in the Northern Region. The seminar takes place on Thursday 28th April 2016, 9.00 am to 12.00 noon, Hartlepool College of Further Education, Stockton Street, Hartlepool, TS24 7NT.

Prior to the seminar, a wreath will be laid at the Tree of Remembrance in Hartlepool College of Further Education at 08.45 am.

Health & Safety Briefing  at  NE regional centre: Thursday 10th July 0930-1200 (followed by lunch):

  • This regional briefing will look at issues relevant to the work of Health and Safety Representatives and other activists within the area.  
  • A keynote speaker, on the dangers of Asbestos in Schools
  • Practical advice on how you can help to ensure your school remains a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Members should be entitled to time off to attend this training, which offers valuable CPD

This invitation is open to all our activists who have an interest in Health , Safety and Welfare in the workplace.  It is a priority for us to raise awareness of health and safety issues amongst our members.
